Dr. Cherése Godwin is a University of Pennsylvania, Hall of Fame Inductee, a UNESCO Humanities Public Speaker, and an expert consultant in social policy, social and racial justice, and social entrepreneurship.
She is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania in the Social Policy at the School of Social Policy and Practice leading a course on Data for Equitable Justice where she lectures to master-level data analytic and social policy students on creating, marketing, and sustaining a creative mode of change such as a podcast, documentary, business, data program, policy brief, op-ed, Instagram account, etc to advocate for social justice in a social policy or social issue area.
She also lectures additional courses like Policy Analysis and International Social Policy.
Before lecturing in Philadelphia, Dr. Godwin was an organizational development, social impact, wellness, and program and policy consultant to Caribbean countries and organizations.
She is a creative catalyst and innovator, selected by the International Labour Organisation for the Women in Leadership and Business Award representing the island of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
Nadia Felicien-Satney, a young and dynamic Certified Wedding Consultant, heads Passion 4 Weddings a Brand known for its seamless Destination Wedding &Event logistics along with training and enhancement of local vendors in the Wedding Industry.
Certified by the school of Wedding professional in the UK and personally trained by Rebecca Reynolds Founder of Disney Weddings, Nadia holds more than a decade of expertise in planning and executing Destination Weddings & Events throughout the Caribbean.
In 2018 a shift was made after hearing the cries of our St.Lucian brides and Passion 4 Weddings was born. Nadia offers her services as a consultant to help couples with what can seem to be a stressful event. Brides rave that they “would be lost without Nadia”, who is not only a wedding Consultant but “a friend”, “ a guardian angel”, “a magician” that translates visions into dazzling personalized events and creates memories that last a lifetime.
Now currently a member of CWEP her focus is training and building a network of international Wedding Planners and vendors throughout the Caribbean, lamenting the concept collaboration over competition.
